Snowball 2020 Preview

This year’s Snowball dance will be held in the CHS commons on Saturday, January 25 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Although historically the dance has been held on Friday nights, it has been moved to the following Saturday to avoid conflicts with practices for winter sports.

The dance will feature a winter theme, a local DJ and a formal dress code (dresses, blazers or jackets). The dance is still in the planning stages, but SGA advisor Ryan Severance promises a fun experience.

“SGA is working hard to bring some different elements that we haven’t had in the past and just make it a fun night out,” said Severance.

SGA is also working on increasing Snowball’s accessibility.

“We’re working hard to make it accessible to all students by keeping ticket prices low and offering discounted tickets to those who need them,” said school President Isabel Simmons.

One ticket costs $15 and two tickets are $20. Tickets are available to all CHS students during lunch at the front of the library.
