Men’s lacrosse lost a close game on Wednesday to NCSSM, 10-14. The team plays again tonight away at Voyager.
Softball mercy ruled Chapel Hill on Wednesday with a final score 16-3. Senior, Sindely Castaneda led the team in scoring. The team then traveled to Bartlett-Yancy the next day and unfortunately lost 0-10. But despite the score, the team played well and will look to continue this trend in future games.
Baseball also lost 0-10 in their first game of the season to Bartlett-Yancey. However, this was one of the hardest games of the season for the team, so a strong season is still possible.
Track competed against NCSSM in their first meet of the season at home, Thursday March 7. The meet was close, but the scores have not yet been reported. Both the men’s and women’s teams performed well despite cold temperatures.
The women’s soccer game on Thursday was cancelled last minute due to a scheduling conflict.
